chintoo & chaachi

Approximately one parrot lifespan ago, Chintoo arrived at Chachi's from a pet shop in a red cage and soon got too big to live in it comfortably. There had been talks of getting him a new one but no one now remembers the exact reason why that never happened. It was never forgotten though, over the years it served as a topic of small talk over snack with many guests, who were naturally amazed sipping tea across an equally tea loving parrot. Well mannered and well pampered, Chintoo is always too eager for spotlight. His routine sunset gazing with Chachi has served as time tracker for many, so punctual and consistent have they been, specially since COVID19. Naturally wired to live in the moment, Chintoo never had to worry for survival. Chachi made sure of that. There's hardly anyone who doubts that he would not see the end of this pandemic. There's hardly anyone who doesn't hope that he goes as healthy as he lived. He cannot handle a full tummy anymore, if this information matters to you, here it is. Ofcourse it was given to cover for an illustration, as was every sentence here. Eh eh. More importantly, this maybe the first and the last you see of him, his sad face hiding a happy soul. His luck will not betray and he'll be okay and he'll go away. Chachi too will be okay. No, she won't replace him with another bird. She'll just need some privacy.
